Bill Kerr, Chief marketing Officer
of TCG Consulting, sat down with
Consulting to discuss the firm’s
revenue growth and outstanding financial performance.
Consulting: What were the
main factors that contributed
to your firm’s growth?
Kerr: Commitment to expansion
of our business model for delivery of broader strategic initiatives
working with the senior leadership
of organizations to integrate and
optimize Corporate Travel, Meetings, Payment and Expense Management. In addition, leveraging
our proprietary and fundamentally
disruptive model and approach—
total Cost of Ownership for Travel, Meetings, Payment & Expense
Management.
Consulting: How is this year
shaping up for your firm?
Kerr: TCG is poised to deliver
another record year in both revenues and new clients.
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook
for 2018?
Kerr: The 2018 outlook is strong as
we continue to expand our market
leading position; there is significant
opportunity to work with both
financial and procurement leaders
from mature programs who are
searching for new areas of innovation
to deliver to their organizations.
Additionally, smaller organizations
are looking for a turnkey management solution to reduce cost,
improve user acceptance and reduce
internal support requirements.
Consulting: What would you
say are your firm’s biggest
challenges in 2018?
Kerr: Efficiently managing our
growth to ensure superior client
delivery.
Consulting: What does being
named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms mean
to your firm, your employees
and your clients?
Kerr: With TCG now winning
this award for two consecutive
years, it validates our decision to
evolve our business model from
traditional, sourcing focused, one
off engagements to our innovative
TCO baseline approach delivering broader strategic engagements
and value over longer periods
and to multiple client stakeholder groups. The size and visibility
of our new client wins—many
among the largest organizations
in the world—endorses our value proposition as well as our employee expertise & commitment.
