Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
exceptional growth rate between
the years 2011 and 2014?
Chambers: Market-leading enterprise clients and their customers increasingly want cloud-based solutions that are more social, mobile,
and rooted in analytics. Maven Wave
has outpaced the market because we
deliver a hybrid of the experience and
strategic thinking found in a brand-name consulting firm, combined with
the creativity, expertise, and agility

Consulting: How is 2015 shaping up for your firm?
Chambers: Everyone wants to shorten the fuse from idea to innovation. It’s
the unifying idea behind the increased
interest we are seeing in all facets of
our business. Our clients have a rapidly
growing need for: Anytime, anywhere,
any device collaboration through Google for Work; Better data and deeper
use of quantitative methods to unlock
hidden value; Improved agility, digital
product acceleration, and new digital
development. Our ability to cater to
these needs has resulted in the strongest
pipeline in our history in 2015.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm’s outlook for
2016? Where do you see the
most opportunities?
Chambers: While we see the trends
that powered 2015 continuing, we
are also seeing increased demand
for Maven Wave owned cloud solu-
tions that extend the functionality
of Google’s cloud environment for
specific corporate use. These long-
term IP-based revenues comple-
ment the recurring revenue we gen-
erate through our relationship with
Google. Together with the growth
we see in the rest of our business,
our future looks bright; our pipeline
is nearly double its value compared
with the same time last year. 2016
will be all about execution.
Consulting: What do you see as
the biggest challenges in 2016?
Chambers: Finding great talent is
the perpetual biggest challenge. In
today’s hyper-competitive market,
we hire our industry’s top talent—
those individuals who have what
we call x-factor—that indescribable quality that draws others to
aspire and succeed. Our ability to
retain individuals with x-factor is
the key to our success.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms mean
to your firm, your employees
and your clients?
Chambers: We get up day after day,
and go to work focused on making
our clients successful. But every
once in while, we get the chance
to pause and reflect. Receiving this
recognition is one of those moments,
and we couldn’t be more proud.
