Arvind Kapur to discuss the
firm’s financial performance.
Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
firm’s exceptional growth?
Kapur: There are three primary
factors that contributed to Saggezza’s growth. The first factor is our
capacity to identify and invest in
emerging technological trends and
solutions earlier than most of our
competitors. This gives us the ability to deliver the highest value to our
clients to help them address digital
disruption; particularly the value
conscious mid-market segment.
The second factor is that we truly
strive for excellence in everything
we do. Whether it is helping our cli-
ents create a world-class user expe-
rience, fostering and encouraging a
data-driven culture for our clients,
or validating the importance of dig-
ital modernization and retiring leg-
acy systems to our clients. The final
contributing factor would be our
global presence. Our expansion into
the Northeast of England has great-
ly impacted our growth in 2019.
Consulting: How is this year
shaping up for your firm?
Kapur: This year has been an
exciting time for Saggezza. In
March, we expanded our presence
in the Midwest with the acquisition of Omni Resources; a Milwaukee based IT consulting firm.
Omni has been in operation since
1984, and as a result, has strong
roots in Wisconsin. This acquisition has allowed Saggezza to enter a new market. It has also given
us the opportunity to work with a
wider range of clientele and industries helping to expand our
presence as a leading technology
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook for
Kapur: The biggest opportunities
we are focusing on in 2020 is enabling our clients to adopt a data-driven culture. In Milwaukee,
we recently established a Cloud
& Analytics Center of Excellence
to provide our clients with every imaginable data resource they
could want. We expect to add 50
new members to this team in 2020.
Consulting: What would you say
are your firm’s biggest challenges
Kapur: With growth, there are always obstacles that arise, and making sure it is properly managed is
paramount. Having the capacity
to hire at the same rate that we
are growing is vital, but ensuring
that we are hiring smart and talented people is even more important. With that, we are focused on
diligently supporting a culture of
continuous learning as we continue to grow. At Saggezza, training
and development has always been
viewed as a top priority.
Consulting: What does being named
a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your
firm, employees and clients?
Kapur: Winning this award is an
honor, and it is gratifying to be recognized by our peers. For our employees, it serves as recognition for
all of their efforts and everything
they have done to make us successful. For our current and prospective
clients, it provides them with validation that Saggezza lives up to
its promise of being a proven and
trusted technology partner.
