factors that contributed to your firm’s
Rosenfeld: There are three main
factors that have contributed to our
growth: One, our continuous ability
to bring together the right teams at
the right time to deliver measurable
value and visible outcomes; two,
our specialization across crucial
enterprise processes including technology enablement and transformation, human resources, risk and
cybersecurity management, digital
experience, organizational change
management, and customer service;
and finally, our reputation and word
of mouth referrals from successful
customers to their peers that have
Consulting: How is this year shaping
up for your firm?
Rosenfeld: Cask has exceeded our
organizational, customer satisfac-
tion, capability development, and
fiscal targets. We have continued to
invest in and expand our delivery
and consulting capabilities to pre-
pare for changing client needs, with
great early success and outcomes.
Based on where we are today, we
expect to exceed our firm’s target of
40 percent year over year growth.
Consulting: How would you describe
your firm’s outlook for 2020?
Rosenfeld: Cask’s outlook for 2020
is bright and focused on ‘smart
growth’. We continue to grow our
practices in Human Resources, Risk
Management and Security, and IT
Management. Based on demand, we
are excited to launch a new practice focused on Finance and Spend
Management that will help our clients improve and automate Financial Close, Procure to Pay, Vendor
Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management processes. Our
increased focus on Digital Transformation has already led to multiple
long term opportunities with strategic clients in 2020 and beyond.
Consulting: What are your firm’s
biggest challenges in 2020?
Rosenfeld: Our largest continued
challenge is to scale our workforce
in a responsible way—recruiting
and finding top talent in a challeng-
ing and competitive landscape, en-
suring new employees are brought
into the organization in the best
way possible, that they are given
the tools and resources to contrib-
ute to their customer, individual,
and company success, while main-
taining our culture and high quality.
Consulting: What does being named
a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your
firm, employees and clients?
Rosenfeld: The Fastest Growing
Firm designation illustrates Cask’s
commitment to responsibly growing over a multi-year period. For
our clients, it shows that we are able
to continue to deliver value on both
larger programs and a high number
of projects and our continued ability
to deliver on engagements that drive
enterprise value. For our company, it
allows Cask to garner positive attention that we may not get otherwise;
we really receive an increased number of inquiries for our services and
applications for positions after publication. For our organization, it illustrates our continued commitment
to the collective organization and
provides reinforcement that Cask is
different in how we operate.
