Consulting caught up with Aggarwal to discuss Triangle Insights
Group’s revenue growth and financial performance.
Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
firm’s exceptional growth?
Aggarwal: Our team of exceptional hard-working employees!
Our ability to attract high-caliber
talent in RTP and San Francisco
(spanning MBAs, PhDs, MDs, and
PharmDs) has enabled us to build
a team that consistently delivers
top-quality work. We consistently exceed the high expectations of
our clients—we've earned a 9. 4
score (out of a 10-point scale) in
terms of overall client satisfaction.
Our commitment to quality drives
our business and has served as the
backbone of our growth.
Consulting: How is this year shaping
up for your firm?
Aggarwal: We recently celebrated
our fifth year of operation at Trian-
gle and we could not be happier. The
company enjoyed 30 percent sales
growth year-over-year in ’ 18. We
continue to see significant staff ex-
pansion and have also enjoyed work-
ing with the largest Triangle summer
internship class (as we ramp-up our
team for 2019 and beyond).
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook for
2019? Where do you see the most
Aggarwal: We expect 2019 to be
another strong year for Triangle Insights. Our greatest constraint continues to be hiring—we have expanded
our approach towards targeting the
hiring of even more exceptional employees (across undergraduate, PhD,
and MBA programs). We have seen
great growth within our industry and
expect to continue to support our clients in cell/ gene therapy, oncology,
dermatology, and other therapeutic
areas. We also continue to expand
our ability to execute on projects
across the spectrum of commercial
and corporate needs of pharmaceutical companies (for example, launch
strategy, pricing and market access
strategy, R&D strategy).
Consulting: What would you say are
your firm’s biggest challenges?
Aggarwal: Our biggest challenge
is managing growth—we contin-
ue to focus our efforts on attracting
and retaining exceptional employ-
ees. We have expanded our hiring
program to include additional uni-
versities and programs and want to
ensure that we always hire the “best
of the best”. Triangle Insights is
also dedicated on ensuring “quality
growth”—we hope to continue to
expand our client base while nev-
er losing sight of our core values:
premier-quality work, fervent com-
mitment to client partnership, and a
prominent position as thought lead-
ers within the life sciences industry.
