Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
firm’s exceptional growth?
Wong: The success of DayBlink
is rooted in our strong and unique
culture that prioritizes people. We
firmly believe that our people are
our greatest asset and work tirelessly to continuously improve
and enhance our employee benefits
and experiences to sustain our excellence. Our approach has fueled

Consulting: How is this year shaping
up for your firm?
Wong: We continue to be driven
by our desire to disrupt the professional services industry. At this
critical point in our journey, our
team is expanding in size as well
as reaching to new geographies, as
we continue to build and deliver
innovative new solution offerings.
We are expecting a very strong finish to 2018 and are already looking
for new 2019 growth strategies.
Consulting:: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook for
2019? Where do you see the most
Wong: We are placing strategic
bets on a couple of emerging
technologies. I think this positions us
well to grab early market share and
continuing building our legacy. We
often find ourselves up against big
shops with brand names, but given
our current client roster and talented
team we expect to scale rapidly.
Consulting: What would you say
are your firm’s biggest challenges
Wong: As an industry, consulting
is marred with employee burn-
out and high turnover. Although
we acknowledge that turnover is
a reality of our profession, we’re
committed to retaining our top tal-
ent by allowing people to focus on
what they are passionate about,
earmarking resources for personal
development, and building rela-
tionships with colleagues to create
a culture that empowers and ener-
gizes our staff to overcome chal-
lenges and celebrate victories not
as individuals, but as a collective.
