Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
firm’s exceptional growth?
Smith: For organizations that need to
transform their business, accelerate
growth, or execute mission critical
initiatives, Liberty acts as the force
multiplier that ensures success. In
today’s ever-evolving market, clients
are looking for this sort of edge, which
fueled our growth in 2015. Liberty
has a very talented group of experi-
enced consultants and seasoned busi-

Consulting: How is this year
shaping up for your firm?
Smith: Liberty built a solid foundation during our break out growth
year, and we continue to grow.
Fortunately, our business model is
based on delivering quantifiable
outcomes for our clients, which creates long-term relationships. When
our clients grow, we grow.
Consulting: What’s your firm’s
outlook for 2017? Where do you
see the most opportunities?
Smith: Liberty fills a need in the
market between strategy and exe-
cution, and in today’s economy this
is mission critical. Companies are
faced with unprecedented market
pressures; however, advanced in-
formation platforms (cloud, digital,
analytics, etc.) are being leveraged
to address these pressures. There is
simply too much “shelfware” left
behind as a result of failed proj-
ects. Companies are rethinking their
business models and their execu-
tion strategies. Liberty solves these
problems for organizations, and we
see this continuing into 2017. Cyber
Security and Health Care IT are two
growth sectors for Liberty. We ap-
proach cyber security as an extension
to our current engagement model—
independent of industry, and collab-
orate with industry thought leaders
to ensure our clients understand their
risk profile and landscape of options.
Consulting: What would you
say are your firm’s biggest
challenges in 2017?
Smith: Companies will continue to
face market pressure to innovate and
grow. The challenge we welcome is
to guide traditionally non-technology
centric companies to view their technology assets and data as strategic.
Effective technology deployment is
essential to every company; therefore, leaders must learn to embrace
this change in thinking. Fortunately,
Liberty has the expertise to get ahead
of clients’ thinking and help them understand the implications.
