Eagle Hill Consulting (EHC) is a
family-run, woman-owned company
designed to bring out the best in its
employees to deliver the best results
for clients. “We stand out as a truly
unconventional consulting firm in a
world of large, traditional consultancies by combining the proven tools
and methodologies of larger consultancies with the nimbleness and
personalized attention of a smaller
firm,” says Melissa Jezior, President
and CEO of Eagle Hill Consulting.
“Our talented people make EHC
the unique community that it is-and
we strive daily to be a great place to
work. Our consultants possess an entrepreneurial spirit and bring energy,
initiative and imagination to solve
clients’ business problems.” With
whopping 458 percent growth, Eagle
Hill settles in at No. 8 on the list this
year. Jezior sat down with Consulting
to discuss the firm’s performance.
Consulting: What were the
main factors that contributed
to your exceptional growth?
Jezior: When we founded Eagle
Hill in 2003, we built our firm to be
a community of consultants, rather
than a traditional consultancy. Our
company is truly collaborative, uni-
fied in nature, and possesses an en-
trepreneurial spirit. This unique ap-
proach to consulting has had a direct
and lasting impact on our exception-
al growth rate. In fact, over 95 per-
cent of our clients surveyed say they
would work with Eagle Hill again.
Our existing customers have also
served as strong referrals to help us
connect with new clients.
Consulting: How is 2015
shaping up for your firm?
Jezior: Eagle Hill is on target to meet
our planned revenue goal, which
will result in 100 percent growth
from 2014. And in 2015 alone, we
hired 71 new employees, resulting
in a 145 percent annual growth rate.
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook
for 2016? Where do you see
the most opportunities?
Jezior: Eagle Hill’s outlook for
2016 is set to exceed the exceptional
growth we experienced in 2015. We
have grown across all our industries
(Border & Transportation, Financial
Services, and Media, Communications, and Technology) and expect
to continue doing so in the coming
year. Initial revenue projections for
2016 indicate another significant
growth year for the company, including expansion opportunities in
our “incubator” markets.
Consulting: What do you see as
the biggest challenges in 2016?
Jezior: About two years ago, Eagle Hill had 30 full-time employees. This past month, we celebrated
our 100th employee. As we look to
maintain our rapid growth in 2016,
we will need to continue to scale our
business operations and sustain our
Consulting: What does being
named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms mean
to your firm, your employees
and your clients?
Jezior: The biggest impacts we’ve
witnessed as a result of being named
a Consulting’s Fastest Growing
Firm (as well as the “Seven to
Watch” list!), is the positive effect
it’s had on our dedicated employees and loyal clients. These awards
have helped our employees and
customers see that we are headed in
a positive direction and are making
significant progress toward achieving our Big Hairy Audacious Goal
of 10-times growth in 10 Years…
and still a best place to work. For
us, it’s a positive validation that we
have a very bright future.
