No. 39 on our Fastest Growing Firms
list. Niles discussed the firm’s performance recently with Consulting.
Consulting: What were the
main factors that contributed to you exceptional growth
rate between the years 2011
Niles: We attribute our growth
to our focus on strategy execution and advanced analytics. In a
slow growth environment, organic
growth and productivity are two
levers that CEOs are focused on.
Being able to execute on those
with advanced analytics makes
performance improvement even
more impactful. We drive results
using advanced analytics, an area
in which everybody is looking to
build capacity. A big practice area
for us is Private Equity, which sets
a model for efficient value creation,
and that is an area of extraordinary
growth. We have a relentless focus
on delivering for our clients. Our
quality scores reflect this. Our Net
Promoter Score has gone through
the roof in recent years.
Consulting: How was/is 2015
shaping up for your firm?
Niles: 2015 has been a great year
for us. We continue to grow at a
fast pace—expanding our team,
advisors, and offerings.
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook
for 2016? Where do you see
the most opportunities?
Niles: We plan to continue growing
across all sectors and geographic
regions. As we’ve built out our
Advanced Analytics products and
capabilities set, we are seeing
even more opportunities to create
Consulting: What do you see
as the biggest challenges for
your firm in 2016?
Niles: Finding—or developing—
talent with skills in both operations work and advanced analytics
is certainly difficult, but has been
a key driver of our success. We
have a unique place in the market
because we find and develop people who have a unique skillset that
our clients can’t find themselves.
Consulting: What does being
named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms mean
to your firm, your employees
and your clients?
Niles: It’s exciting and wonderful to be part of a fast-growing
organization. Everyone is growing, opportunities are changing,
and we are learning every day. We
are very encouraged about the opportunity in front of us. More and
more CEOs recognize their charge
to drive growth and create new
competitive differences through
operations transformation. It’s
great to be in a position where we
are asked to take the lead on that
on a regular basis.
