Parker sat down with Consulting to
discuss the firm’s future.
Consulting: What were the main
factors that contributed to your
exceptional growth rate?
Parker: A commitment to doing
excellent work and a focus on exceptional quality. We have not wavered from that commitment and
focus. In this span we sought and
obtained our ISO 9001:2008 certification and have continued to keep
our focus on quality as our principal
objective. Much of our growth has
come from client referrals and follow-on engagements.
Consulting: How is 2015
shaping up for your firm?
Parker: 2015 has shaped up to being
a phenomenal (and transformational)
year for us. We are ending at about
7 percent higher in revenues than our
last three-year projection and have
done well at securing and maintain-
ing a client-base that aligns with who
we are at the core of our firm.
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook
for 2016? Where do you see
the most opportunities?
Parker: For 2016, we are expecting another strong year with growth
in both our federal and commercial
practice areas. We dedicated that
last half of 2015 to executing our
growth plans and solidifying our
strategic plan. We have added several new leaders to our management
team and are postured to continue
the growth patterns we’ve seen
over the past three years. We think
our area of greatest opportunity is
two-fold—deepening the relationships we have with our existing clients and broadening our client-base
into complementary domains.
Consulting: What do you see as
the biggest challenges in 2016?
Parker: In 2016 we will be executing
several new marketing strategies aimed
at increasing the industry presence and
exposure of our firm. Historically, we
have stood on referrals and focused
our collective energy on our existing
clients. For 2016 we will implement
several initiatives that will expand
awareness of our solutions as well as
our thinking on new and emerging issues facing business leaders.
Consulting: What does being
named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms mean
to your firm, your employees
and your clients?
Parker: We all feel a sense of ownership for the successes and failures
of the firm and it has been a major
thrill for each of us to have been
named one of Consulting’s Fastest
Growing Firms for 2015. For us
this award is both an honor and a
validation that our continued focus
on quality and value, over numbers
is working. Since receiving the
award we’ve heard from a number of our partners and clients who
are about as excited as we are! For
them, having a relationship with a
successful and growing firm brings
another element of confirmation of
