Consulting magazine caught up with Daugherty to discuss the firm’s 104 percent
growth rate and No. 33 position on the
Fastest Growing Firms list.
Consulting: What were the
main factors that contributed
to your exceptional growth?
Daugherty: One primary factor that
contributed to our growth is our culture of delivery excellence. We are
committed to delivering exceptional
value to every customer who gives
us the privilege of working with
them. We are engaged with many
of the most successful companies in
the world and much of our success is
due to repeat and referral business.
Consulting: How is 2015
shaping up for your firm?
Daugherty: Things are shaping up
nicely, and we’re finishing strong in
2015. The first half of the year was a
bit of a challenge because our leader-
ship bandwidth was not keeping pace
with our rapid growth. So, we’ve been
putting a lot of energy into leadership
development and identifying and in-
vesting in our high potential, talented
people. We’ve had a record number of
promotions from within the organiza-
tion, and it’s really starting to pay off.
Consulting: How would you
describe your firm’s outlook for
2016? Where do you see the
Daugherty: We’re well positioned
for a fantastic 2016. Increasing
our leadership bandwidth, re-en-ergizing our sales organization,
and investing even more in our
ability to bring thought leadership
to our customers is giving us the
opportunity to have our best year
ever. There is a huge and growing
opportunity in the marketplace
for anyone who can leverage new
technology and innovation to drive
business value, and that is exactly
where Daugherty is positioned.
Consulting: What do you see as
the biggest challenges for your
firm in 2016?
Daugherty: Greatest challenges
and greatest opportunities are two
sides of the same coin. Our goal
is to grow from $200 million to a
billion dollars in annual revenue
over the next 10 years, which we
can accomplish by maintaining our
current growth rate. 2016 will be a
key year for us to put the necessary
processes and systems in place.
Consulting: What does being
named one of Consulting’s
Fastest Growing Firms
mean to your firm, your
employees and your clients?
Daugherty: It’s a validation that
what we’re doing is being appreciated by the marketplace and a nice way
to measure our progress against our
vision in a quantifiable manner. And
finally, please allow me to express

company makes an extremely positive impact on our customers, our
employees, and our communities.
